Albanian PM: Move closer to EU as a team 

 

We cannot move towards Europe by attacking each other. This was Rama's message during a conference organized in the Day of Albania-Germany Cooperation.

Rama stressed the importance of regional cooperation in order to approach the Balkan countries with EU as soon as possible. "These days it is inevitable to speak about football especially when we know that Albanians, have long been fans and followers of the German football.

Germany's national team is another example to understand why Germany has always been successful. If you need to get closer to Europe you should function as a team. The road is difficult, but given the political support and the will and also the cooperation and support of Germany no doubt that things become easier "Rama said.

In his speech, Rama praised cooperation with Berlin noting that Albania sees Germany as an important strategic partner for economic development, but also as a source for stable performance leadership across the region.

According to the prime minister, "the regional engagement and cooperation that Germany wants with all countries places us before a dual responsibility. The responsibility of being on the same level as Germany and of being a partner Europe requires.
