Terrorism risk, experts of the National Security of USA soon in Albania

 

Task Force experts from the CIA, FBI and Anti-terror, arriving in Tirana for a second time after the NATO attacks against the former Yugoslavia and Kosovo  in 1999

TIRANA - A U.S. delegation comes in Tirana on 27 and 28 January to meet with President Nishani, Prime Rama, and other officials to discuss cooperation against terrorism.

The delegation includes several agencies, including representatives from the Departments of State, Justice, Homeland Security, and the U.S. National Center for Counter - Terrorism, CIA.

"Albania is one of the few countries in the region being visited by the delegation. Your place in the framework of close cooperation and consultation to proceed with Albania, our NATO ally, over a range of common security challenges facing our countries, "reads the announcement of the U.S. embassy.
