“The biggest job of this and every future government is to employ people. We have already shown that this can be done with our own means, strength and intelligence,” Vučić, who is also a defense minister, said.
Economy and Finance Minister Mlađan Dinkić said that the military industry was a great export chance for Serbia.

He added that the government will invest additional funds in the military industry in the following period.

He said that 30 cooperators would work for the new plant, including Prva petoletka, FAP, FADIP and Metal sistemi.

“The Finance Ministry will together with the Defense Ministry, Serbian Army and SDPR plant make a plan in order to determine how many military equipment Serbia could sell in the world and how to employ the domestic economy as much as possible,” the minister said.

The factory will have around 100 employees and will produce BOV M10, BOV M11 armored carriers, Nora B-52 self-propelled howitzers and it is expected to produce Lazar 1 and Lazar 2 transporters in cooperation with Russian partners in the future.
