Driver tries to intercept president’s motorcade

BELGRADE -- A Škoda Fabia with no license plates has tried to cut in Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić’s motorcade several times.

The incident took place on Jurija Gagarina St. in New Belgrade.
The police have said that they are searching for the driver. They told daily Blic that it was unsure whether the incident was a result of careless driving or traffic jams due to construction works in the street.

A police SUV recently run into a motorcade that was accompanying Nikolić on the Belgrade-Niš highway.
