"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the attitudes and actions that were intended to tarnish the celebration of National Day and undermine bilateral relations which develop positively for the benefit of both countries," he said in a statement.

"Greece and Albania take steps to start a new era in their relationship based on mutual respect and common European future," said the foreign ministry, adding that those responsible for these actions should get the message that this central selection of the two governments "not reversible."

Note: The latest incident with the Greek National Day of October 28, in Permeti, passed with a statement by the Greek government, seeking to criticize Albanian extremists and simultaneously show that "Albania and Greece, are friendship bridge".This is a new incident is so dangerous consequences, as the failure of President Carolos Papoulias visits in Ag. Saranda in 2005, again by Albanian nationalists, wanting to remove responsibility repsektive by the two governments, for which, the Greek Community, is moreendangered as never in these 20 years .. in this strong anti Greek rhetoric can not erase both the government of Sali Berisha and others politic parties, including the Opposition, which creates  unanimusly institutional conditions for that, the Albanian nationalists have support overall and everywhere.
