"The scandal of Concessions" with the  beaches of  the Himara Region

Albanian press charges, greater corruption of the government of Albania, after the scandal with the WorldBank in 2007, in which Jala village, was destroyed entirely.

In Himara, "Omonia" called municipal councilors to denounce the scandal, even though they voted for this concession.

The "Omonia President" Vasil Bolanos, urges OSCE, make transparent all the registration of the properties process in the Himara Region. In a letter to the OSCE, the diplomatic corps and the civil society, Bolanos explained that "He has not received a response from the Himara Municipality for the registration process, although advisers" Omonia "are present in all voting in the Council."


The Himara Community and the Costal Association, consider approving of the concession of the beaches of Himara, a "new Occupation" that aims massive looting of land, through tourism development policies of Tirana.
