The change of Macedonia's name was "not discussed at any point" during the US-Adriatic Charter Summit in Montenegro earlier this week.

A spokesman for the Macedonian government Mile Boskovski said this, Beta reported.

According to Boskovski, cited by MIA, the government in Skopje "rejects as completely false and incorrect" information published earlier on Thursday by Sputnik, and carried by other media outlets.

According to Sputnik, Macedonian PM Zoran Zaev reached agreement with US Vice President Mike Pence on a change of Macedonia's name, that would remove Greece's objections and allow the country to quickly progress on its path toward NATO membership.
