The mother of Nadia Valavani,
former Syriza minister admitted that she withdrew 200,000 euros from
her bank on the eve of the imposition of capital controls.
"The money was my life savings, I was scared and I took it home," she said in a newspaper interview.
Nadia Valavani, an Alternate Finance Minister till last Tuesday, had informed Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras that she resigns from her post in a letter sent on Monday, July 13.
