At least seven civilians killed by Ukrainian airstrike near Lugansk
Ukrainian warplanes on Thursday bombed a village near 20 Lugansk, killing seven villagers including a five-year-old girl. The Ukrainian military claims that the bombing was the result of a pilot’s error. Valery Golenko, head of the Lugansk regional administration, claims that the bombing raid caused worse casualties. He said twelve were killed and at least twice as many were injured.
The Ukrainian troops have been shelling and bombing the
Lugansk region for two days now. Damage has been caused to industrial
and administrative buildings and homes. Power and water supply has been
disrupted in several villages.
