Nationwide protests against the discrimination of Albanians will begin with June 23, in the Square "Skënderbeu" in Skopje, than to continue later in other cities inhabited by Albanians. The news has made known by the leader of the Council for organizing protests at the initiative of the National Democratic Union (BDK), Nevzat Halili.
According to him, protests will be held under the motto: "Equality full for national Albanians". These protests will also enjoy the support of students of the University of Tetovo. Halili hopes to pass the protest peaceful and democratic atmosphere, without promoting hatred against anyone.
The Chairman of the BDK, Hysni Shaqiri said that the protests which have national character, but parties symbols will not be partisan, but only national flags and flags of United States of America (USA), and the European Union. He said the protests are defined as national protests, meanwhile, expects to join them as members of the two largest parties Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) and the Albanian Democratic Party (DPA).
These protests as Shaqiri meant, are to say only to have and change the constitutional-legal status of Albanians in Macedonia.
