Noel Malcolm: "The union between Albania and Kosovo is legitimate"
The British historian Sir Noel Malcolm, said that the union between Albania and Kosovo is completely legitimate, if there is a strong desire of the two countries.

But the author of the book "Kosovo, a short story," which now handles pedagogical research at Oxford University, said that at the moment the demand for unification could be a tactical error.
"I am not an expert of the future, but I think that if there is a strong desire of both countries, this is completely legitimate. However, I see several extreme problems in this  idea.

There is an idea in other countries that this can be dangerous and destabilizing for the Balkans. Personally, I do not see a problematic issue, but I see that such a campaign could irritate Western powers. It could have been a tactical error," said Malcolm, in an interview for Top Channel this week.
