Creation of the Kosovo Armed Forces

Answering to the reactions of Belgrade, he declared that Kosovo is a sovereign state and its decisions are being respected.

“Allow me to thank all the international mechanisms, the United States of America, the European Union countries and NATO for the clear stance of the UN regarding the decision taken by the government of Kosovo for creating the Armed Forces. We are a sovereign and independent country. Our decisions are sovereign, and these decisions are being respected by the entire international community”, Thaci declared.

The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismaili, declared that with this proposition the Parliament might decide to remove the ownership from Kosovo Agency for Privatization for given enterprises, such as the Trepca enterprise.

“According to this law, the government might remove the Kosovo Agency for Privatization any enterprise or organization, register them as public enterprises of the Republic of Kosovo. The Parliament of Kosovo takes this decision if there is a major public interest”, Ismaili declared.
