Still irredentism calls of the Albanian Prime Minister

"The nation is one, and all Albanians wherever they live deserves to have Albanian citizenship." So said Prime Minister Sali Berisha sitting in the seat where 100 years ago a wise old man of Vlora held the first meeting of the Albanian state after Independence.

From the city of Vlora, where the PM Berisha 100 years after Albanian patriots threw the first idea of national unity, threw back this thesis, as he urged the drafting of a law for Albanian citizenship and understanding of neighbors and the international community. According to the prime minister, the initiative is not for electoral gains but a goal to unite all Albanians wherever they are.

In honor of 100 years of independence, the Council of Ministers held its meeting today on the second floor of the Museum of Vlora, where 100 years ago met the first Albanian government headed Ismail Qemali.

Ministers took place just before 10:00 pm at the same office where they met the Albanian government's first cabinet, while the meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who took a seat at the top table. The first to arrive in the South has been the Prime Minister's security team, who together with Vlora Police set up security measures plan. Museum will remain closed to the public today, and security measures in the building are high
