Countryman calls for fair elections

Thomas Countryman, Deputy Secretary of State has called on the Albanian political forces to commit to fair elections. He says that all parties must respect the constitution in order to realize fair elections, also Countryman has urged the Albanian citizens to request this from their representatives.

He also noted that on both sides are expected to develop a non-violent campaign, to hold peaceful elections on May 8th and resolve any disputes over the elections through a constitutional process.
