European Parliament: All EU countries must recognize Kosovo

After the joint meeting of leaders from the region with representatives of the European Parliament, through a press release, the European Parliament strongly supports the European future of Western Balkans. In this meeting Kosovo was represented by the chairman of the Assembly, Jakup Krasniqi.

"The region still has challenges ahead: judicial reforms, fighting corruption and organized crime and the cooperation with The Hague" said the communique, where executives of EP are cited.

The European Parliament for Kosovo has stressed the need for the recognition of Kosovo, adding that "may not be established official relations between the EU and Kosovo, when the latter is recognized as independent from five European Union countries. "
