Greece, Extraordinary National Council on Foreign Policy, Libya




Image The convening of the National Foreign Policy Council, which will deal with the Greek involvement in the Libyan crisis decided by the government. The Council meets this afternoon at 18.00.

The range and type of Greek involvement in the operation against government forces in Libya will be the main subject of this meeting along with developments in Greek-Turkish relations.

Meanwhile, "orange" signal to the Cyprus Police sent Thursday Interpol, requesting to remain vigilant in case, when Muammar Gaddafi, his family members and close associates, try to travel through Cyprus or transfer assets.

It said police spokesman, Michael Katsounotos with the label, sent the police forces of all States parties to Interpol, with specific reference to 16 family or the environment Gaddafi.

He also said that the operation of Interpol part of the implementation of the resolution adopted by the Security Council, where the crisis began in Libya.
