The President of "OMONIA" (The Ethnic Greek Community in Albania), Vassilis BOLLANOS condomned by Vlora`s Court sentenced 6 months in prison

Athens is observing every thing about the Trial in Vlora, while the greek Prime Minister Karamanlis could cancel the trip to Tirana previsted on Saturday

The Greek-American Lobby of USA particularly the Northern Epiriotic Federation, is intesifing the meeting with US Secretary Hillary Clinton to denounce the arrogance of Albanian institutions which continues to violate the human rights of the Greek Ethinc Minority in Albania, especially in Himara Region.

Such was previsted, The Vlora Court takes the decision to condemn the president of Omonia Vassilis Bollanos and Mayor of Himara Municipality, with 6 months in prison, 4 thousand Euro and 3 years not to be represent of public administrations. The decision is arbitrary and specified by the fascist tribunals of Albania, said the advocate of Vassil Bollanos, Petraq Curri.

The Mayor Vasil Bollano of the Region of Himara, ordered the removal of road signs in December 2007, arguing that the signs should also have been written in Greek, as he considers the area a Greek-minority zone
