Diaspora of Himara, calling for boycott for the next parliamentary elections in Albania
A tough, to boycott the parliamentary elections of June, seeking exponents of Himara diaspora, mainly USA, Greece and Albania.
December 2, 1945, The Himara Region, boycotted the first parliamentary elections of communist dictator Enver Hoxha. No one would go in the voting population, supporting only those candidates that will be demanded by the people of Himara, and not dictated by the Communists.
Recently, there is a growing calls from all sides of the Albanian politics, to bring the Himara Region in the spotlight for the parliamentary elections, to be held in June 23.
Sources say for SManalysis, that possibilities of fraud, theft of votes and the use of violence, especially in Himara, are a priority, since been added to the voters list of Himara, with thousands of Albanian immigrants, non-resident authentic.
However, according to analysts, the attention turned in Himara Region, aims to ethnic clashes and no European tourist perspective of Himara (Albania), as Mafia properties, requires direct its interests for representation in Albanian parliament, to do what they want with the assets the people of Himara.
Meanwhile, diaspora of Himara, about 1/2 of the population of the Himara Region, who lives in emigration USA and Greece, but also in the cities of Albania, has called for a boycott of parliamentary elections to the population of Himara, which according to them , would be a good example for Albanian politics, which constantly targets the region and its population, ethnically divided, in Albanian and Greek.
According to a Poll conducted by SManalysis, in the new geopolitical developments in the Balkan Region, the people of Himara, are determined to turn international agreements by major powers, which gave wide Indipendence, for the province of Himara, including, the Protocol of Corfu, The United Nations and the Ottoman Empire.
Himara Diaspora, is working to programmed to boycott parliamentary elections, but at the same time lobbying in Washington, awarding autonomy of Himara Region, a region that has resisted the Turkish invasion, and that has been independent for 2600 years, from any emperor.
