NOVI SAD -- Activists of a nationalist group have
set a provincial flag of Vojvodina on fire in front of the premises of
the League of Social-Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV).
Nenad Čanak is the leader of the LSV.
The SNP added in their statement that they wished to show they would continue with their campaign against those seeking autonomy (autonomaši) in northern Serbia during this year.
The movement also noted that they had sent a proposal to the Constitutional Court of Serbia to ban the LSV for their anti-constitutional activities.
The same court previously ruled against banning the SNP itself.
During the weekend, the ultra right-wingers put up posters in Novi Sad entitled, "Foreign Agents", containing a list of what they said were anti-Serb media and NGOs, which they believe are financed by western intelligence services.
The SNP last year set a flag of Vojvodina on fire on three separate occasions in three towns in the province.
